From Somerset down to Atlantic County

Winters get cold right across the area, and a gas fireplace that will not light does not care which county it is in. We travel for residential and commercial work alike, and every estimate is free wherever you are.

Mercer County

Where the company is based, so the shortest drives and the most familiar housing. A wide mix here, from the older places around Princeton and central Trenton to the post-war and newer developments spreading out from them.

Middlesex County

Dense, varied and busy. Townships that grew fast after the war sit next to much older river towns, so a street can hold a converted masonry fireplace and a sealed direct vent unit a few doors apart.

Somerset County

Quieter and greener, with a lot of larger single family housing and a good number of homes carrying more than one fireplace. Plenty of later conversions of original masonry.

Monmouth County

Runs from farmland down to the shore, and the work changes with it. Inland it is mostly indoor units and annual service; nearer the water, outdoor firepits and grills come into it.

Ocean County

Shore country. Second homes that sit empty half the year, a lot of propane rather than natural gas, and salt air that is hard on anything installed outdoors.

Burlington County

Large and spread out, running from the river towns down to the edge of the Pinelands. Older masonry near the centres, managed communities and newer builds further out.

Camden County

Row houses and close flues in the older parts, post-war neighbourhoods and newer developments beyond them. Commercial work too, in the public rooms that need an annual check.

Atlantic County

Hospitality runs on different hours to everyone else, so scheduling matters here more than anywhere. Salt air again, and propane common once you are off the main lines.
